Meet Your Instructor

I started Brush & Quill two years ago when my students wanted more than what I could offer during a regular school day. More time, more exploration, more in-depth projects. They told me what they wanted to learn – how to draw iguanas, paint 3D hot air balloons, pour plaster sculptures – and soon even our 2-hour after-school sessions didn’t seem like enough time to do it all! That is one of my favorite things about art – there is never an end to the possibilities.

In the 15 years before Brush & Quill, I taught writing, literature, and art – instructing students kindergarten through adult in various Florida county schools, Seminole State College, Ronald McDonald House Orlando and Nemours, and Orlando Museum of Art.

After all these experiences, I am excited to continue exploring the possibilities of art with my students!
